A Young Talent

As a special treat for the new year, this video was submitted to us by a special family. They are good friends of Carriage House Violins and we are more than happy to share this with everyone. Brenden Zak is an eager young performer and plays our very own 1/2 size Newbury Violin.

The Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela

Members of the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela, seen here with Dee Ann, Ethan, and James from Carriage House Violins, visit the shop before a concert at Boston's Symphony Hall. We Drew This

I just returned from what became one of my favorite trips. I visited old friends (Augusta, GA) met new ones (Buffalo, NY), and enjoyed great autumn foliage along the way. Below is a pair of portraits of myself and my friend Avigdor, each drawn by the other. Avigdor is a young violist that plays with a spark of enthusiasm you just can't teach....
